God Used Sarkodie To Bless Me – King Promise Says
The self-acclaimed “land lord of Ghana music,” Sarkodie, has received appreciation from Ghanaian artist Gregory Bortey Newman, better known as King Promise, for his support of his career.
King Promise claims that Sarkodie, a rapper, launched him into the spotlight in the music business. He claimed that Sarkodie was a tool employed by God.
King Promise took the occasion to pay tribute to Sarkodie at the Outernet venue in London, United Kingdom, during the Sarkodie x The Composers & Friends concert.
Before leaving, the singer added, “I hope you folks know this man put me on,” stroking Sarkodie's shoulder.
He continued, “There is King Promise only because there was Sarkodie.”
“Even before anyone knew my name, he had faith in me.” When I was a young lad in Nungua, God used him to assist me.
“So I want to say God bless you,” he remarked while holding Sarkodie's shoulder.
Five years later, in the present, we are in London. “Bro, this [thing] is crazy,” King Promise remarked, swiftly adding in an enthusiastic voice.
