The highly anticipated single featuring Sister Derby from Ghanaian balderdash rapper Samuel Frimpong, better known as Medikal, was only made public a few hours ago.

The sizzling jam has had more than 80,000 views on YouTube alone as of the time this story was published, with additional views coming from other music streaming services.

Prior to the song's release, the media was abuzz with rumors that Medikal had split from Fella Makafui and rejoined Sister Derby.

Once the actress was photographed in a series of photos without her wedding band, the rumors that Medikal and Fella were no longer together intensified.

A number of social media users have taken offense to Medikla's subtle digs at his own wife throughout the divorce drama.

Medikal asserts that instead of Fella Makafui, he desires a trophy in life similar to Sister Derby's.

In one of the verses of his new song, which also contains the self-made African Mermaid, Medikal emphasized this.

“Life is a bitch, but I want a trophy, an African mermaid-like Sister Derby.” He just meant what he said—that is, despite being married to Fella, he valued Sister Derby more than his wife. This specific sentence does not follow a rhyming scheme or metaphor, for example.

He continued with another punch, comparing Sister Derby and Fella to tilapia after the previously said sentence.
