Fuel stations have been reported to mix gasoline with water or other liquids, primarily affecting cars and drivers.
Fameye, a musician and songwriter from Ghana, described how a petrol station damaged his 2019 Honda Pilot Touring after he paid 700 cedis for fuel that was mixed with water. Fameye shared his dissatisfaction with the same issue.
He claims that the gas station filled his tank with gasoline and water, which ruined his automobile.
Fameye continued by saying that after spending 7K cedis already, his car is still inoperable.
Reporting the news he wrote on Twitter;
So few days ago ,I go buy fuel for one fuel station ,700 cedis,the rest is heart breaking They filled my tank with water mixed with petrol as I'm talking to you now my car Honda pilot touring 2019 model is spoilt Spent 7k already still not working!!! What do I do?
