Riddick began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in a number of off-Broadway productions. He later landed small roles in movies and television shows, including “The Cosby Mysteries,” “New York Undercover,” and “Law & Order.” In 2002, Riddick landed his breakthrough role as Lieutenant Cedric Daniels in the HBO crime drama “The Wire.”
