According to Black Stars hypeman Langabel in an interview with TV3, Christian Atsu made the correct choice when he chose to wed a white lady.
In his opinion, the player would have been better off marrying a non-Ghanaian due to the custody issues that arise when his husbands pass away.
After sharing pleasant recollections with the former footballer, Langabel remarked, “What made me pleased is that Atsu never married a black lady.
“Because this burial will be marred by disputes between the families of both sides, generally over property, when Atsu marries a black lady.
He emphasized that because Atsu's sister would be in control of his inheritance after caring for him, there was now no justification for such disputes.
Langabel was among the well-wishers who flocked to the State House forecourt for the former Black Stars player's final burial. Since then, Atsu has been buried in his hometown.
