Self-styled Ghanaian Dancehall King Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has been referred to as the guardian angel of rapper Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong.
Medikal claims that Shatta Wale has also taught him a lot of information about the music business that the majority of Ghanaian singers are unaware of.
“Shatta is a very positive person, he advises me a lot. You know he's been through a lot in this industry and he coaches me to find my way not to do certain mistakes he did in the past or what some artistes are still doing. Shatta is more like a guardian angel to me if I'm correct, he got me through”, he revealed.
Medikal also confessed that, since he got attached to Shatta Wale, things have improved massively for his music career.
“Since I come close to him, things have doubled, things are great, you see numbers increases”, he said.
