As he prepares to take home the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards' Best Rap Performance trophy for the second time, Ghanaian rapper Lyrical Joe is not taking his success for granted.
The rapper defeated musicians including Sarkodie, Strongman, Amerado, Lyrical Joe, Obibini, and Teephlow to win the spot the previous year and has revealed in an interview with Kwame Dadzie that he will bag the award again this year.
In the same category as TeePhlow, Strongman, Amerado, Sarkodie, and Medikal this year, he has also received a nomination.
Lyrical Joe, whose debut album is called “Picture Album,” was thrilled to be nominated for the 2023 edition of the awards. He told Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM's “Showbiz A-Z” about this.
He said “oh, sure” in response to the question of whether he would win again.
