Dispensing/Pharmacy Technology (Diploma and Higher National Diploma – HND)

Pharmatrust Professional College offers a two and a half year Diploma course in Dispensing Technology. The Pharmacy Council of Ghana has accredited the Dispensing/Pharmacy Technology course. The goal of this course is to provide students with relevant Dispensing experience so that they can practice as Dispensing/Pharmacy technicians professionally and effectively.

During the vacations, the students will also be placed on attachment. During the attachment, the students will be evaluated by the Ghana Education Service's technical examination unit. After completing the Diploma program, students will be enrolled in the Higher National Diploma program.

Laboratory Technician course (certificate and diploma)

Pharmatrust Professional College offers a certificate course in Laboratory Technology, which is a one year programme. The aim of this course is to equip the students with relevant laboratory experience to practice professionally and effectively as laboratory technicians.

The certificate programme provides the students with theoretical concepts. The practicals will be conducted at Accra polytechnic. The students will also be placed on attachment during the vacations. The technical examination unit of the Ghana education service will assess the students during the attachment. Medicines Counter Assistant Course (Certificate)

The Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) course is accredited by Pharmacy Council and provides the minimum training requirements for pharmacy support staff working behind the counter.

This course is intended to provide vocational skills in the area of Pharmacy to anyone who desires to
acquire a vocation in Pharmaceutical Care and Pharmacy Practice as a certified Medicine Counter Assistant in Ghana

Medicines Counter Assistants are the first people customers interact with in a community pharmacy. They need the knowledge and confidence to talk to customers and promote the pharmacy as a hub for healthy living advice and care.
