My Wife Discovered She Was Pregnant After A Robbery Attack – Akesse Brempong

The story of how his wife discovered she was pregnant following an armed robbery incident is told by Ghanaian gospel musician Akesse Brempong.

His song “God is Working” was inspired, he revealed to Fiifi Folson on Joy FM's “The Reason is Jesus,” by the fact that his wife had her first child four years after they got married. He said he wrote the song to thank God for that, and to show his gratitude to God, he said.

For four years, Akesse and his wife Benedicta “were looking for the fruit of the womb and it wasn't coming,” he said. Akesse and Benedicta were married in 2011.

“Once we started dating, we began to receive prophetic messages from God regarding the children He would give us, the type of house we would construct, and many other things,” he recalled.

The gospel singer and pastor claimed that, despite their best efforts, physicians were unable to help.

“Dicta [his wife] came to talk to me once, and it broke me.” Although we are traveling and serving the Lord, your home needs something. praying for folks and observing some signs of God's intervention in their lives, but we still have a need.

As I prayed to God, He told me to warn my wife that when I deliver her over to captivity, she will be like a dreamer. Akesse added.

My wife decided to take a taxi from Santa's Roundabout to Kumasi, but sadly, there were armed robbers in the vehicle.

They tried to remove her wedding band but were unsuccessful because it was stuck to her fingers. They also stole her phone and money, he added.

He claimed they shoved her, causing her to fall onto her arms. They asked for a doctor's report when they reported the incident to the police.

“After checking her out, the doctor kept urging her to perform a pregnancy test.” My mother brought her there because she had a sprain in her arm from the armed robbery, and she was upset. “Pregnancy test with a sprain in my arm?” he asked.

“And that was how she discovered that she was eight weeks pregnant. So it meant that when I gave the prophetic word, the month before, she has actually conceived and entered into another month,” he further revealed.
