You are now overstepping your boundaries – Kuame Eugene warns lookalike
Kuame Eugene has harshly urged his lookalike to take precautions because he is now overstepping his bounds.
Kuami Eugene claimed in a recent interview with MX24 TV that his lookalike should stop till something goes wrong because he is a brand and a corporate entity.
He claimed that, while he first granted him permission to ‘enjoy’ himself, it appears that he and other impersonators of other well-known Ghanaian singers are now abusing the privilege in reaction to a loud public protest about the disturbance these imitations are causing.
He stated; “In those days people used to dress and act like the superstars they admire but I never saw one of them going on stage to go and perform his songs.
“That’s like maximum disrespect so it’s another story when you love the person and wants to rep the person on social media but when it gets to a level when it’s becoming too much.
You see what’s going on and you’re enjoying it, that’s why I said people are just selfish because he’s enjoying that fame and that attention at this particular time nothing is stopping him.
Until it all goes wrong, and then they’ll be sorry because I’m a brand and a business, and I’ll just say trust me, it looks wonderful, but if you’re enjoying it, it won’t last.”
Sarkodie just stated in a new post that he plans to include Kuame Eugene, Mr Drew, and King Promise lookalikes on his upcoming Jamz World Tour.
According to Sarkodie, when he approached most of his industry colleagues to be a part of the tour, they offered him a ludicrous fee, so he plans to hire their doppelgangers instead.
However, he made it clear in a comment he added to a video that featured a lookalike of King Promise, Mr Drew, and Kuame Eugene that his post should only be taken as a joke.
See what he posted; There’s always a way out … called some of my superstars to pull up for the #JamzWorldTour … they gave me mad attitude plus ridiculous fees so …. 🙏🏿 #Jokes
