VGMA24: I Have Spent Over GHS 20,000 On Voting – DJ Azonto Reveals
Ghanaian DJ and musician DJ Azonto is confident that he would take home the VGMA Best New Artiste of the Year award in 2023.
The ‘Fa No Fom’ singer expressed optimism about winning the one category in which he was nominated in an interview with ZionFelix.
He revealed the sum he has already spent on voting.
According to DJ Azonto, 20,000 GHS was spent on voting.
The performer admitted to purchasing voting credits for his followers.
He also boasts of having a sizable fan base in all sixteen of Ghana’s regions.
DJ Azonto asserted that he did not feel defeated.
Lasmid, Djay, Malcom Nuna, Ewuraabena, and Chief One are his rivals for the Best New Artiste of the Year award.
