Ghanaians Need To Change Their Mentalities Towards Artists – Kofi Kinaata

Kofi Kinaata, the former Fante rap god who is now a singer, has exhorted Ghanaians to show love and support for homegrown artists in order to promote the development of the music business.

The Ghanaian music sector has been significantly impacted, according to Kinaata, by a lack of funding.

The musician voiced his worries in a report on asaaseradioonline.com, saying, “When you go to Effiakuma with Jay-Z, they will compare me with Jay-Z.”

He underlined, however, that a lack of investment is the fundamental problem impeding the industry’s expansion.

Kinaata declared that “we need to change our mindset or attitude toward our own artists.”
