Just a few minutes after the Grammy recording academy announced they had added an African category consisting of Ghanaian hip-hop and the Ghanaian drill to their categories to be won, there were a lot of arguments on the internet since Ghana is still looking for that one bold artist to win the country its first Grammy award.

A lot of people argued that since there is a Ghanaian dril that was popularized by the Asaaka, there is a higher probability that they will win the awrd before many old geese.

This argument continued and brought up a comparison between the Asaaka and the Old Gees, with someone arguing that O'Kenneth in terms of ODF drill is bigger than Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, better known as , who has been holding the hip-hop scene for a while now.

He wrote:

Yes has made it to that stage. He has paved the way. He is an OG. But when it comes to Ghanaian Drill Music? No be ein size be Okenneth sef.
