As part of paying allegiance to his hometown Nogokpo amidst the recent controversy surrounding the town, Wakayna the fast rising sensational Afrobeats and highlife artist took to the studio to explain the meaning of Nogokpo.
In an interview, Wakayna stated that his Nogokpo song was planned since 2020 and was just waiting for the right opportunity to tell the world about where he hails from and who they are.
He also called on all natives of the land and the people of Volta Region to support him to champion a positive course through music.
“All Ghanaian and foreigners who intend to visit the town for tourism and spiritual purposes will be welcomed peacefully. WE ARE A PEACE LOVING AND JUST PEOPLE” WE HATE EVIL. He added.
The song “Nogokpo” was self produced by Wakayna and mixed and mastered by Possigee.
