NAM1 Instructs Menzgold Customers to Pay GHC650 for Transaction Verification Before Payout
In a letter he signed on Friday, August 18, 2023, Nana Appiah Mensah, the embattled C.E.O. of the disbanded gold dealership company, Menzgold, presented an update on the actions being done to settle the approximately 46,000 clients the company owes.
Nana Appiah Mensah instructed the customers who have been furious since their monies were frozen to buy a GHC650 Menzgold Digital Verification Access Card to authenticate their transactions in the statement that was made public.
Portions of the statement sighted online by zionfelix.net reveal that this verification card will allow “customers who believe they have genuine indebtedness claims, to check their transaction status.”
The statement also added that customers who wish to claim their transactions must upload original colored soft copies of their transaction supporting documents from August 10th, 2023, to September 14th, 2023.
The company also indicated in the letter that they are undertaking this step because they have realized that it is the only way to verify the claims of people who have been alleging that they have their funds locked up with Menzgold. After all, “over sixty percent (60%) of the claims they have received were fraught with unacceptable infractions that invalidate the claims in question.”
The final bit of the statement was a caution to all the alleged customers of the company, indicating that those who fail to verify their claims will risk forfeiting their funds locked up with the company if indeed it is true.

The recently issued statement has triggered a wave of amusing responses on social media, with numerous individuals implying that the company's intentions might be to cleverly deceive once again.
Certain individuals have put forward the notion that should Menzgold's strategy prove effective, the company could potentially amass around 2.29 million Ghana cedis, assuming all 46,000 customers opt for the card.
