“Being G@y Is Not About S3x, Some People Were Naturally Created Queered” – Sister Derby

LGBT activist Sister Derby from Ghana has voiced her disgust with the remarks made towards LGBT people.

She claims that a common error is to characterize homose.xuality as solely an “activity” or “lifestyle.”

The “Uncle Obama” singer claimed during an interview with Bryt TV that being homos.exual or queer is a natural occurrence and not just about sex.

Even the phrase we have been using is wrong since it is not just an activity; these are real people. But we frequently make the error of limiting it to se.xuality. The topic is not solely sexual.

“There are homose.xual and queer people among us who have never had se.x. What then, for them as well? We shouldn’t categorize or restrict these folks to only having sex, right? A sizable portion, if not the majority, of the brightest and most brilliant fashion designers in the world identify as gay, she said.

She said that because of the discrimination experienced by Africans, hatred of LGBT people is motivated by a desire to harm other people in a similar way. She continued by saying that if LGBT people were affluent, society would recognize and honor them.

“Poverty is widespread in our region of the world. As a result, when we come across ga.y people, we rarely anticipate their financial condition. We already live under oppression. The economy is in trouble right now. We are in pain. As a result, we now wish to oppress someone who is perceived as inferior to us by those in positions of authority. When you want to oppress someone, you are oppressing yourself.

You’ll probably concur with me when I say, “Do you think they’d be insulted and treated this way if every g.ay person in Ghana were extremely wealthy, wealthier than even the level of Bobriski? Money is power, as you well know,” she said.
