Following his arrival in Nigeria, troubled musician Azeez Fashola, nicknamed Naira Marley, was detained, according to the Lagos State Police Command.
The Marlian leader was detained in connection with an ongoing investigation into the passing of musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, alias Mohbad.
SP On Tuesday, Benjamin Hundeyin, the public relations officer for the Lagos State Police Command, tweeted a confirmation of the news.
The musician tweeted on Tuesday that he had come to Lagos to help with the current investigation into the passing of his former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka MohBad, before he was taken into custody.
