Sonnie Badu and Black Sherif

In order for Black Sherif to represent Ghana on the international scene in an interview with Dj Slim on Hitz FM, UK-based gospel singer Sonnie Badu has appealed to the Ghanaian music industry and its players for help.

He asserts that the singer of the hit song “Soja” has all the necessary skills to take Ghana international and that the nation as a whole can only aid him by encouraging his career.

He also claimed that the success of Black Sherif at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was advantageous for the music business.

“We must take our time. If I were the minister of entertainment, I would keep an eye on this man and plan to use him this season. Not an individualistic agenda, but a Ghanaian agenda. We must take our time. If I were the minister of entertainment, I would keep an eye on this man and plan to use him this season. Not an individualistic agenda, but a Ghanaian agenda. Because that is what Nigerians do, if I were a member of the entertainment community, I would let everyone project that person. Blacko has all the necessary components to take Ghana international.
