Few artists in Ghana's constantly changing music scene have the enduring appeal and lyrical skill that Patrick Gogoh, better known by his stage name , brings to the table.

recently made a comeback in an exclusive interview with Connect FM's charismatic drive time host, Nana Adjoa Arthur, after a protracted musical break.

Tsikago discussed his opinions on the modern music landscape in this open discussion and revealed his much-anticipated comeback to the forefront with a new song.

Tsikago expressed his worries about the situation of the music industry in full throughout the interview.

He expressed his unhappiness in the music created by several up-and-coming artists because it lacked lyrical depth and content.

He noted that while there's no shortage of talent, the emphasis on catchy beats and danceable tunes often overshadows meaningful storytelling and lyrical craftsmanship.

Tsikago emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between entertainment and meaningful content in music.

He encouraged emerging artists to delve deeper into their artistry and explore themes that resonate with the listeners on a personal and emotional level.

Tsikago's journey in the music industry has been nothing short of remarkable.

He gained prominence in the early 2000s for his unique blend of highlife and hiplife, coupled with his thought-provoking lyrics that often explored themes of love, culture, and societal issues. His distinctive voice and lyrical prowess made him a household name in Ghana and earned him a dedicated fan base.

However, Tsikago revealed that he decided to take a step back from the limelight to focus on personal growth, family related issues and to observe the evolution of Ghana's music industry.

In a thrilling announcement, Tsikago revealed that he's making his triumphant return to the music scene with a new single titled ‘Agba'.

The title itself, which means “treasure” in the Ewe language, hints at a valuable and culturally rich musical experience.

Tsikago urged his loyal fan base and music enthusiasts alike to anticipate ‘Agba' with excitement.

He assured them that the song would not only showcase his artistic growth but also serve as a testament to the enduring power of meaningful lyrics and compelling melodies.

With this impending release, Tsikago hopes to set a new standard for music in Ghana and inspire a new generation of artists to embrace lyrical content that can stand the test of time.

As we eagerly await the release of ‘Agba' in December, it's clear that Tsikago's return will be a memorable moment in Ghana's music history.
