A settlement has been struck between American rapper and music mogul Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, and his ex girlfriend Cassie.
Cassie filed a fiery lawsuit two days prior, alleging that the famous rapper had raped and physically abused her.
Recall that on Thursday, Cassie filed a lawsuit in Federal District Court in Manhattan, accusing Diddy of raping and beating her from 2005 until 2018, coercing her into having sex with male prostitutes, and taking advantage of her with drugs and alcohol.
But Cassie’s attorney declared on Friday that the two had reached a settlement on the case his client had brought a day earlier.
Without revealing the specifics of the settlement, Cassie’s attorney stated that the parties “resolved the claims… to their mutual satisfaction.”
“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,” Cassie wrote in a statement.
“We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best.” Didi added in his own statement.
