Stop blaming witches for careless road accidents during Christmas – Kaakyire Kwame Appiah

,a renowned veteran musician from Ghana, has stated that drivers' negligence should be held accountable for traffic accidents.

The “Kwadonto” hitmaker claims he doesn't get why Ghanaians attribute accidents caused by reckless driving to witchcraft and spirituality.

He claimed that people overspeed because they want to reach their destination early and commercial drivers are trying to increase their income during this holiday season.

“By rushing with too much speed it can be dangerous but we often blame witches and lesser gods or spirits for certain mishaps that we caused,” he said during an interview with Amansan on Property FM.

He added monitored by MyNewsGh.com “Obey traffic rules and why is it that when the speed limit is telling you to go 50 you'd move like 80 or 100 so we will plead with the drivers that if you drink alcohol don't drive”.
