Joe Flacco, born on January 16, 1985, in Audubon, New Jersey, is an American football quarterback who has played for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. Flacco was a three-star recruit and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

In 2004, Flacco led the Pittsburgh Panthers to an 8–4 record while serving as their backup quarterback. He participated in the FCS title game for Delaware in 2007 before transferring to the University of Delaware in 2005. In 2007, Flacco accumulated 4,263 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions while leading his team to an 8-3 regular-season record. Against Navy, he had his greatest performance, throwing for four touchdowns and 434 yards.

Flacco, a former Delaware quarterback, set 20 school records and led Baltimore to six consecutive playoff appearances. He won the AFC North twice and was named Super Bowl XLVII MVP. In 2019, he was traded to the Denver Broncos but missed the season due to a neck injury. He later joined the New York Jets in 2020 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, but was traded back to the Jets after losing Zach Wilson to injury. In 2023, he joined the Cleveland Browns, leading a 4-1 record as a starter and earning the Browns a playoff berth. Flacco holds the most career passing yards and touchdowns for any quarterback who has never been to a Pro Bowl.

American football quarterback, is currently playing for the Cleveland Browns of the NFL. In November 2023, quarterback was signed to the Browns practice squad after a season-ending injury. He was named the starter for Week 13 against the Rams and Week 14 against the Jaguars.

Flacco became the starter for the Browns and signed a one-year deal with Cleveland on December 14. In Week 16, he had three consecutive games with over 300 yards passing and was named FedEx Air Player of the Week. In Week 17, he threw three touchdowns and passed for 296 yards, marking the most yards in any half in his career. He made his first playoff start since 2015 against the Texans.
