Joe Flacco, born Joseph Vincent Flacco, is an American football quarterback who played for the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. Born in 1985, Flacco was a three-star recruit and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Delaware and later transferred to the University of Delaware.
Flacco led the Pittsburgh Panthers to an 8–4 record in 2004 and later led the University of Delaware to an 8–3 regular-season record in 2007. He set 20 school records and was Baltimore’s starting quarterback from 2008 to midway through the 2018 season. He helped the Ravens win the AFC North twice, appear in three AFC Championship Games, and win Super Bowl XLVII. Flacco was traded to the Denver Broncos in 2019, but his season was cut short due to a neck injury.

In 2004, Flacco led the Pittsburgh Panthers to an 8–4 record while serving as their backup quarterback. He participated in the FCS title game for Delaware in 2007 before transferring to the University of Delaware in 2005.
In 2007, Flacco accumulated 4,263 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions while leading his team to an 8-3 regular-season record. Against Navy, he had his greatest performance, throwing for four touchdowns and 434 yards.
