Artist Francisca Gawugah, better known by her stage name Sista Afia, has shared her painful background, describing how a terrible broken heart sent her to a mental health facility.
In a recent interview, Sista Afia made this revelation and related how she just learned about her boyfriend’s second marriage a few days later.
She said that it was a betrayal of her trust because she had put a lot of trust in her partner.
”I didn’t know he was getting married. I was blinded by love, so I couldn’t see the signs.
When I found out he had gotten married, I was heartbroken.
And it took me a long time to get over it. I was even admitted to the psychiatric hospital because of how broken I was.
It will take me a while to trust men again.” Sista Afia stated:.
