I Carried The Team, But Was Backstabbed – Asamoah Gyan Drops Cryptic Video (Video)
Following the disastrous performance of the Black Stars in the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, Asamoah Gyan, the former captain of Ghana, has responded in an odd manner.
The two goals conceded at injury time that the Black Stars suffered during Monday’s 2-2 draw with Mozambique have put the four-time African champions in danger of being eliminated from the competition.
To decide whether to stay in Ivory Coast, Ghana is now awaiting the outcome of a few more group-stage matches.
Despite his intense interest in the competition, Gyan has not said much since the game at Alassane Outarra Stadium in Abidjan.
But despite the sacrifice he made for the country, the 37-year-old said in a video he uploaded on Tuesday afternoon that he was always the target when the squad lost.
