Sacha Boey, born on September 13, 2000, is a French professional footballer known for his explosive pace, tackling, and crossing ability. Born in France, Boey is of Cameroonian descent and is considered a highly promising young player in the media. He currently plays as a right-back for Süper Lig club Galatasaray.
Boey made his professional debut with Rennes in a Ligue 1 tie with Toulouse FC in May 2019. He joined Dijon on a season-long loan in October 2020 and signed a contract with Galatasaray in July 2021. In the 2022–23 season, he became the champion in the Süper Lig and scored his first Champions League goal for the club in a 2–2 draw against Copenhagen on September 20, 2023.
Boey was a youth international for France in the under-17, under-18, and under-20 age groups. He was selected in the initial Cameroon squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations but was omitted from the final squad. In March 2022, he was included in the initial squad for Cameroon’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Algeria but was omitted again.
