Hugo Henri Broos, born on 10 April 1952, is a Belgian football manager and former player who currently serves as the manager of South Africa's national soccer team. Born in Humbeek, Broos started his career playing for KFC Humbeek before being discovered by a scout from RSC Anderlecht at the age of eighteen.

He played for Club Brugge for five seasons, helping them win three European trophies, three national championships, and four Belgian Cups. From 1974 to 1986, Broos represented Belgium, gaining 24 caps and finishing fourth at the World Cup in Mexico in 1986. In 1983, he switched teams and played for Club Brugge, where he won the Belgian Cup in 1986 and the championship in 1988. In 1988, Broos retired as a professional footballer.

In his coaching career, Broos coached Club Brugge from 1991 to 1998, winning the championship twice in 1992 and 1996. He also coached Anderlecht from 2002 until 2005, leading the team into the Champions League and winning the 2003–04 season championship. However, the 2004–05 season was a turning point, and Broos was fired for the first time in his career.

In 2008, Broos became the coach of Greek club Panserraikos, but the club couldn't avoid relegation. He left Panserraikos and became the new coach of Trabzonspor in 2009 before being released in November 2009. He then served as head coach of Zulte Waregem and assistant coach of Al Jazira Club.

In 2012, he became the manager of Cameroon's national team, leading them to victory in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. In 2018, he became the sporting director of K.V. Oostende.
