Actress and socialite from Ghana, Efia Odo, has criticized other women for approaching men with romantic proposals, saying it’s foolish and embarrassing.
The aspiring singer and influencer claims that she doesn’t know why a woman would bow down to ask a man to marry her.
But does asking a man to marry you also mean you’ll pay for the wedding expenses? she questioned.
African social customs dictate that a man should kneel down and propose love and marriage to a woman, not the other way around, but contemporary trends appear to be changing that.
