Hitz FM and Peace FM Should Be Banned – Shatta Wale
Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has suggested that two radio stations, Peace FM and Hitz FM, be shut down right away.
Shatta Wale said this during an interview on Power FM that Dklassgh.Com was able to view following the release of his eagerly awaited album.
“I am not saying that these media houses should not say anything bad about me but two radio stations Hitz FM and Peace FM should be banned”, he said.
Shatta Wale explained that he believes the two well-known radio stations should be shut down by saying that they don’t conduct in-depth research and are constantly rushing to break news, making them unreliable.
The dancehall musician gave an example, stating that they rushed to talk about his 80,000 pounds issue without conducting adequate investigation.
He felt that they could have handled it better if they had called his manager, Sammy Flex, to gather more details before speaking about it.
“Because I find out that they do not do their research well cos the 80, 000 pounds that you are talking about I don’t think somebody who people claim to be a senior radio presenter will just sit and talk about things waaa waaa waaa”, he said.
Adding that “Whilst Sammy Flex is there who is a person that you can call and be like Sammy this is what I have heard ooooo what information do you have about that? Then Sammy will tell you oh it is true, Alordia paid us 80, 000 pounds. This is the bla bla bla. This is how they even paid us”.
The dancehall musician concluded that it is so unhealthy for media houses in Ghana to speculate negative news about his brand.
