Kuami Eugene’s record label, Lynx Entertainment, has released an official press statement in response to reports that the Ghanaian musician was involved in a car accident.
It is confirmed by the release that Kuami Eugene and one passenger who was hurt in the crash are both alive and receiving medical attention. The label requests privacy while acknowledging the artist’s start of his recuperation process and thanking the public, media, and fans for their support.
After his car and a tipper truck collided on Sunday night close to the DSTV office in Accra, Kuami Eugene barely avoided a potentially fatal collision. The incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m., according to eyewitness Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, Editor of the Modern Ghana news portal.
