“Sarkodie Pay Me My Royalties” – Nigerian Musicians Call Out Sarkodie Once Again Over Unpaid Royalties
Artist Inkboy from Nigeria has once again called on Sarkodie to reimburse him for the money he owes him for his part in the song “One Million Cedis.”
He claims that he has not gotten a single dime from Sarkodie, even after the song became an enormous hit and years after it was recorded.
It seems that instead of offering to compensate him, Sark insisted that working with him would give him notoriety.
After some time has passed, it appears that Inkboy has not benefited from the publicity since he has demanded money.
He wrote:
“King @sarkodie what you are doing is not good at all. I place high regard on your name but it’s seem you prefer me calling you out and people saying I’m ungrateful.
“Pls give me my royalties for one million cedi it’s long overdue Haba you be legend o nawa,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
