Reputable Ghanaian marriage counselor Charlotte Oduro has offered sage advice to ladies struggling with spouses having extramarital relationships, advising them to seek therapy before taking legal action.
As a kind of retaliation, she believes that when a woman has such difficulties in her marriage, it is better for her to think about leaving than to give in to the pressure to cheat.
She underlined that wives who decide to cheat in reaction to their husbands’ adultery are likely to face serious repercussions that might negatively affect their lives.
“I want women to understand that resorting to infidelity won’t resolve their issues. Don’t allow your anger to ruin your future.
If you find it unbearable to cope with your husband’s infidelity, seek counseling or consider ending the marriage. Don’t respond to wrongdoing with more wrongdoing,” she advised in an interview with Oyerepa FM.
