Safo Newman issues warning to bloggers over ‘misleading’ headlines
Safo Newman has taken a strong stance against bloggers and other media sources, claiming that they deliberately misrepresent him in their headlines in order to increase traffic to their websites.
The quickly rising highlife artist claimed in an interview with Asempa Showbiz that he thinks bloggers despise him and are just interested in creating false stories about him to make a point.
Since his rise to stardom, he emphasized, he has been the subject of numerous misleading headlines that have harmed his reputation.
“l always say that people want to do anything just to trend, don’t believe any story you see.
Bloggers normally create a headline just to get traffic for them. I want to urge the media to make sure they are writing the exact and fair captions for their stories in order not to cause damage,” he stated.
Beyond that, Safo Newman replied to Shatta Wale over comments he made recently about his looks in a different interview.
Recall that Shatta Wale asked Safo Newman’s management team to give his sense of style more importance because his reputation as a growing artist isn’t very spectacular right now.
In a video posted by GhanaNdwom, Wale—who is renowned for being outspoken and controversial—was heard saying that Safo’s style ought to be improved to better reflect his musical prowess.
He stressed that the people who found the artist ought to be astute enough to manage his branding before sending him out for interviews.
n his words, “They say there’s this new guy, Safo Newman and I expect his management or those who discovered him to be sensible to take responsibility for his branding before sending him out there.
“But that is not the case, they will just let him wear some hat and take him around for interviews.”
In response, Safo Newman expressed his gratitude for the positive remarks from Shatta Wale during his interview with Kasapa FM, stating that he will certainly consider his constructive feedback with an open mind.
“I’m grateful for the suggestions made. I must say that with time we will improve,” he said.
