Comedic actor Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lilwin, has revealed that John Dramani Mahama saved him when his school bus broke down.
He added that a Mercedes bus that the previous president had purchased for him is currently being utilized to carry pupils at his institution.
“Former President John Mahama said I should not say this but I have to say it to encourage the elderly ones to support the yonger ones do better.
You know when I granted an interview that my school bus had broken down, John Mahama made one of his sons buy me a Benz Bus. The bus cost us more than GHc 300,000 and that is what we have been using in the school now,” he said.
According to Lilwin, the former president has purchased 200 tickets for anyone who wish to attend the event, in addition to purchasing a bus for his school.
He mentioned that the former president had stated he was heading to Techiman for an occasion and would attend the session provided he returned to Accra by Friday.
