Ghanaian Rapper and composer Kweku Flick has stated that performing Highlife music will allow him to get invitations to play with legendary musicians like Ebo Taylor and Daddy Lumba even as he ages.
The crooner of “Y3 Koom” declared his love for Highlife music and his commitment to never stop performing this genre of music that embodies Ghanaian culture.
“Highlife will never die and it’s very dear to my heart so I have to make sure that we’ll keep it on a different level because Highlife is what represents us as Ghanaians.
“Those who did Highlife from the beginning are still remembered and I feel it still stands tall that’s why the likes of Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede are still booked for shows.” He told Amansan Krakye monitored by Dklassgh.Com
He added “That’s why if I continue to do Highlife and I grow up in the industry even at my old age like them I’ll still be booked to perform at shows.
“I will never stop doing Highlife and I’m so passionate about taking it to the global stage for people to see that this is what represents us in terms of our unique genre of music
