The agenda on social media is a big problem – Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy

Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy has urged people to criticize prominent leaders in a constructive way.

He feels that criticism that is helpful rather than personal assaults on public leaders should be the only agenda item discussed on social media.

The attacks, according to Dancehall Artiste, are concerning, particularly since users feel that because the site has connected them to individuals, they should take advantage of this.

He believes that the agenda that goes on on various social media platforms must be limited to constructive criticisms and not attacks on the person of public figures.

The Dancehall Artiste believe that the attacks are a worry especially because people feel because the platform has given them access to people they would want to abuse it.

“The agenda on social media is a big problem. Sometimes you look at the people behind those nasty attacks and you get angry because you can take care of them and all their generation but they will be spewing a lot of nonsense,” he said.

On Mohammed Kudus, Stonebwoy called on social media users to take it cool with the Westham Footballer because he is new to how the platforms work and human relations.

Stonebwoy urged Black Stars players to play a conscious role in helping to market Ghana music just like Mohammed Kudus gives him the opportunity to collaborate with his teams he plays for.
