I created my own GWR application – Chef Smith confesses
Ebenezer Smith, a Ghanaian chef, has expressed regret for the controversy surrounding his purported attempt to break the Guinness World Record.
The man, who says he’s been named the new cook-a-thon record holder by GWR, begged for forgiveness in a tearful public apology in an interview with GHOne Television.
He said he wrote the GWR application himself.
During the exclusive interview, he clarified that he had duplicated Adu Safoa’s application documents in order to obtain funding for his cook-a-thon.
Recall that on Tuesday, July 2, Chef Smith held a press conference to declare to the world that he is the new record holder for the cook-a-thon, presenting a certificate as evidence.
However, the Guinness World Records in a reply to a mail sent by Joy FM’s Kwame Dadzie, indicated that Chef Smith’s assertion is false.
