Media personality with Accra-based Peace FM, Mr. Akwasi Aboagye says it amounts to cheating to pay tithes and offerings to men of God.
Akwasi Aboagye made this comment during a discussion on Angel FM. He stated that most pastors swindle their church members by deceiving them to sell their properties and bring the money to them.
According to Akwasi Aboagye, he prefers to stay home and live a standard life than go to church where these so-called men of God take advantage of him
He added that pastors enrich themselves and their families, take their children to the most expensive schools for better education and fly them outside the country for a better life. However, church members who pay tithe and offerings to men of God are left in the church as paupers.
“Giving out the little money you work for as tithes and offerings in the church is a sin. The Bible never said love your neighbour and hate yourself”, he argued.
