I Still Work with Lynx Entertainment – Kuami Eugene Clears the Air on Rumored Exit
The Ghanaian singer-songwriter Kuami Eugene has refuted reports circulating that he had split from Lynx Entertainment, his record label.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, the multiple award-winning singer made it clear that he remains an integral member of the label.
In response to the rumors, the artist of the popular song “Monica” stated, “People are so impatient on social media.” I haven’t released anything, nor has Lynx, and it seems like individuals are attempting to terminate our contract on our behalf if there is an official exit as everyone seems to be talking about,” he said.
Addressing the rumors further, he emphasized, “What I am trying to say is that me and Lynx are still working. I just sent a song to Richie two days ago on a project he is working on, and he needs me to do one or two things for him, so we are cool.”
According to the one time VGMA Artiste of The Year, if there ever comes a time when he parts ways with Lynx Entertainment, both he and the label will make an official announcement.
‘At the end of the day, if we are close to the level where we feel like ‘okay, Kuami is no longer with Lynx and he is done,’ we will put it out for everyone to know,” he stressed.
Kuami Eugene, who has had a successful career under Lynx Entertainment, has been responsible for hit songs like Confusion, Wish Me Well, and Obiaato. His undeniable talent, coupled with the label’s support, has seen him become one of Ghana’s biggest music stars.
Currently, Kuami Eugene is out with his latest single, Belinda, which is receiving significant airplay. As he continues to work closely with Lynx Entertainment, fans can expect more exciting projects from him in the near future.
