Rapper Guru has encouraged his colleagues in the creative space to educate themselves and not solely depend on their talents.

He is of the view that talent, together with their education, will play a key role in their quest to expand their frontiers.

Guru believes that talent alone cannot win unless it is blended with wisdom and education that directs one’s path towards greatness.

Speaking in an interview, Guru, who is currently the SRC President of the University of Ghana, said, “We shouldn’t limit ourselves to our talent alone. We can go to school in addition and after graduation it will help you some day in the future”.

Guru joined and took inspiration from a number of entertainers who decided to go back to school after several years of chasing their passion.
