Shatta Wale Congratulates Rocky Dawuni with Heartfelt Message on his Grammy Nomination

Following his 2025 Grammy nomination, dancehall sensation Shatta Wale sent a touching tribute to fellow reggae artist Rocky Dawuni.

On Saturday, November 9, the dancehall performer congratulated Rock Dawuni on his Grammy achievement in a tweet on Twitter (now X).

Rocky Dawuni Shortly after the nominees were revealed, his song “Rise” was chosen for Best Global Music Performance, earning him a Grammy nod.

His song ‘Rise’ released in 2024 is in a tight competition with some prominent artists including Angelique Kidjo, Jacob Collier among others.

However, he receives four nominations, first in 2015 and then again in 2021, making him the Ghanaian musician with the most.

However, in celebrating him, Shatta Wale congratulates Rocky Dawuni with a Grammy nomination flyer, expressing his excitement for him.

“Congrats Legend,” Shatta Wale said, accompanied by a Ghana flag emoji, indicating how proud he is for him and the country Ghana.
