South African DJ and influencer Cyan Boujee has sparked controversy after a video of her addressing relationships and finances went viral on social media.
In the video, Cyan clarified that she does not sell her body but prefers to date men who can afford her lifestyle. She explained that her high-maintenance needs, including expensive wigs, designer clothing, and other luxuries, make her a costly partner.
The influencer said she isn’t a prostitute and doesn’t come cheap, her demands are justified.
Cyan also declared herself to be “the table” in a relationship, asserting that men must meet her standards or walk away.
Her comments have triggered widespread reactions, with critics accusing her of repackaging prostitution.
“Why do they try to sugarcoat that they’re commercial s*x workers so much? Just own it and keep it moving,” one social media user commented.
“This prostitute doesn’t even know she’s a prostitute,” another added.
Some questioned her logic, with one user writing, “Why would someone say something like that and feel like they spoke something different?”
Cyan Boujee remains unapologetic, standing firm on her stance despite the backlash.
