Shatta Wale Is on a Pension Bench—Sally Mann

Sally Mann

Entertainment pundit Sally Mann has claimed that Dancehall artist Shatta Wale is now on a “pension bench” in his music career, suggesting he has lost relevance in the industry.

Speaking during an interview on Hitz FM, Sally Mann argued that Shatta Wale’s influence in the music scene has waned significantly over the past few years. In contrast, she praised Stonebwoy, stating that his career has thrived since he chose to end their rivalry three years ago.

“Stonebwoy has achieved a lot, including winning the ‘Reggae Artist of the Year’ award three consecutive times. He shouldn’t respond to Shatta Wale anymore because Shatta has nothing going on now. He has time on his hands and is on a pension bench,” Sally Mann remarked.

She also referenced Shatta Wale’s past comment that he is “not an industry boy.” According to her, this self-exclusion has hindered his ability to gain industry support and promotion.

Sally Mann further criticized Shatta Wale for his frequent verbal attacks on prominent business moguls, including Kwesi Twum, CEO of Multimedia Group Limited, and Kwame Despite, co-founder of Despite Media. She argued that such actions tarnished his image and further alienated him from the industry.
