Gospel singer, Diana Asamoah has come under fire from counsellor George Lutterodt for what he called an offensive and inconsiderate comment she made about her colleague Empress Gifty Adorye.
According to Diana Asamoah, she counselled Empress Gifty against hosting her late mother’s funeral at an AstroTurf location which was built by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government.
Many people were incensed by this remark which was deemed repulsive and wondered why a gospel singer would say such things while her colleague was grieving.
Counselor Lutterodt responded to this controversy by expressing shock at Diana Asamoahs comments and calling for her to be checked into rehabilitation.
He stated, “I don’t understand what would compel Diana Asamoah to make such a silly comment to someone grieving the loss of her mother.”
Further challenging Diana’s argument Counselor Lutterodt pointed out that the AstroTurf was not owned by the NPP and was paid for by taxpayers.
“Is the AstroTurf a private property of the NPP? It belongs to the people of Ghana, and anyone has the right to use it,” he asserted.
