Ghanaian actress and fashion entrepreneur, Salma Mumin talked about the difficulties of being called a ‘slay queen’ a moniker that has occasionally had a detrimental effect on her personal and professional life.
According to Salma Mumin who recently spoke with Nana Romeo on Accra FM this stereotype made some of her coworkers reluctant to work with her.
She also shared how she got a job and that one of her colleagues decided to back out when they learned she was working on the project.
Following that encounter, Salma talked about how depressed and hopeless she felt.
This led her to question whether or not her reputation as a slay queen was the reason why people disliked her.
