Deportation from the United States is reportedly imminent for Young Don who is famous for his candid and frequently contentious remarks regarding public figures and leaders in Ghana.
It has been reported on TikTok that the influencer is being held in a detention facility in the United States.
Young Don who moved to the US in pursuit of better opportunities became popular for his social media videos that frequently targeted well-known Ghanaian individuals such as media figures and chiefs.
Young Don’s videos frequently criticized Ghanaian leadership and governance attempting to mimic the controversial social media commentator Twene Jonas.
Among his most contentious incidents were purportedly offensive comments regarding the Dormahene and other prominent personalities in Ghanaian media.
Critics claim that despite his popularity on social media Young Don ignored the reasons he moved to the US in favour of producing content that stirred up controversy.
Uncertainty surrounds the precise grounds for his detention and possible deportation.
According to rumours, however, his legal status in the US may have been questioned.
