Naa Pooley, a devoted supporter of one of Ghana’s prominent football clubs, Asante Kotoko, tragically passed away mere days ago after he was fatally stabbed during a match against their rival team, Nsoatreman.
Francis Yaw Frimpong, more commonly referred to as Pooley, lost his life following an intense confrontation with an unidentified individual during the game, as per a statement issued by Nsoatreman.
In response to Pooley’s untimely demise, a passionate fan of Accra Hearts of Oak who also happens to be a chapter nine driver has made a sensational claim: he asserts that Nana Pooley’s death was entirely avoidable.
He elaborated that, before the incident, Pooley had been cautioned multiple times not to attend the match in Nsoatre; however, he disregarded this advice.
He further stated that Pooley’s death could have been easily averted if he had chosen to stay away from the Ghana Premier League event, which occurred in Nsoatreman on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
Meanwhile, Pooley’s widow is left inconsolable, grappling with the reality of how she will support their six children all by herself.
