Renowned Ghanaian radio presenter Nana Romeo of Accra FM has ignited discussions within the entertainment industry after disclosing the astonishing fee demanded by award-winning musician KiDi for a single night performance.
During an interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut Show, Nana Romeo revealed that a relative of his sought KiDi for a show set to occur in the UK on April 19, 2025.
According to Nana Romeo, his brother had tasked him with making the necessary inquiries regarding KiDi’s availability and fees.
He expressed that he was quite shocked, however, when he learned that the “Touch It” hitmaker requested a staggering $20,000 for the one-night performance.
Nana Romeo further noted that this $20,000 does not encompass flight expenses or hotel accommodations.
In his concluding remarks on this matter, Nana Romeo urged Ghanaian artists to exhibit some flexibility when engaging with event organizers, particularly those overseas.
