Only a Mentally ill MP will advice his Supporters to engage in such a s!lly Act – Ghanaians blast Frank Annoh-Dompreh for endorsing violence

Ghanaians have vociferously condemned the Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Minority, due to his crude remarks that have incited violence between supporters of the NPP and NDC.

The assertion, which numerous critics label as both divisive and inflammatory, has elicited sharp rebukes from a wide array of Ghanaians.

During a public engagement, Annoh-Dompreh urged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to prioritize their party loyalties above fairness in disputes involving the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He said, “If you’re NPP and you find an NDC supporter fighting a fellow NPP member, help be@t the NDC!”

This comment has sparked considerable backlash; many deem it unbecoming of a public servant.

Critics contend that such rhetoric not only fosters partisanship but also undermines national unity, encouraging violence rather than promoting constructive dialogue.

However, the implications of his words resonate deeply, as they highlight the fragile state of political discourse in the country.

One user wrote:
“Our leaders should be promoting peace, not fuelling division. This is unacceptable from someone in his position!”

Another commented:
“We need leaders who unite, not divide us. Politics should not be a battleground for hostility!”
