A woman from Nigeria, who was pregnant, wanted her baby to have American citizenship, so she traveled to the U.S.
She got a big surprise when things didn’t go as she had hoped.
She decided to talk about her tough experience to let others know what happened.
In a video on TikTok, she explained that she didn’t end up having her baby in America as she had planned.
Her name is Anabella Omene. When she got to the U.S. airport, she wasn’t allowed to enter the country.
Anabella said the officials stopped her right there, and they cancelled her visa immediately.
This unfortunate situation was so shocking that Anabella fainted and fell into a coma. After she had recovered, they put her on the next flight back to Nigeria.
She said:
“Playing with my daughter cause life didn’t end when I went to America to give birth to her, but was denied entry into the country and my visa canceled. With the stress, I fell into labour, was rushed to the hospital in Houston.
Immediately I became a bit okay, they put me on the next available flight back to Nigeria, my husband offered for me to go somewhere. I was too traumatised to embark on another journey. I have lost a child before. I wasn’t going to overstress this baby, so I decided to remain in Nigeria.”
Her words: “In my interview, I clearly told them I was going there to have my baby because of my past experience here in Nigeria, and they gave me the visa, so if they don’t want me to have the baby there, they could have just denied me.”
